Background:
Mottram School is a small primary school with approximately 137 children on roll. The School was built as a Grammar school in 1896, an extension was added in 1994 and a further extension in 2003. There are five separate classrooms, a hall, library and an ICT suite. There is a large playground and a playing field around the School which ensures that the school is a safe and secure place the playground is completely enclosed. All visitors must use the main entrance via the intercom system. The school provides broad and balanced curriculum.
