Background:
Bosley School was opened on November 18, 1858 and extended in 1897. The school's aim is to provide a stimulating and caring environment for its pupils, extending their knowledge and understanding through first-hand experiences. All pupils are taught a broad and balanced curriculum that is relevant and meaningful to individual needs. Religious education is also a compulsory part of the primary school curriculum. Teachers volunteer to undertake extra-curricular activities for Key Stage 2 pupils during the year. The range of activities varies according to the season and the interests of the children. The school also runs an after-school French club, which requires parents to pay a termly contribution towards the cost of the tutor. Ethos: 'To provide a stimulating and caring environment for pupils, extending their knowledge and understanding through first hand experiences'.
