Background:
St Vincent's RC Junior School was first opened in 1858 and has since occupied four different sites. In 1967 the school moved to its present site and the building was extended to house extra classrooms. The school'shares the site with the Infant School and Blessed Thomas Holford High School. Recently a new school library was set up and the exterior of the school has been painted. All children are encouraged to take part in sport and visiting instructors are used to support the physical education curriculum. Parents help in the school on a regular basis.
