Background:

Manor Park School was founded in 1993 following the amalgamation of Norbury Booths Junior School and Crosstown Infants School. The accommodation is attractive, pleasant, well-maintained and refurbished in 2000. The school grounds have been developed effectively to provide a very good environment for play and learning. In and out of school activities support sports from football, tennis, netball and aerobics, and there is an award-winning choir. The nursery is the only LEA nursery in the area. The early-years coordinator is an early-years leading teacher for the LEA. The headteacher is a consultant leader in the LEA. It has a strong commitment to the development of the whole child, and to its place as the only non-denominational school in East Knutsford. It seeks to serve the community in which it is situated providing a quality education for all its children, suited to their age, abilities and interests.
