Background:

Broadheath Primary School is a community school supported by Trafford local education authority. It has just been designated Trafford's first Full Service Extended School and the local area accommodating children between the ages of three and 11. The school has eight classes and a separate nursery with its own enclosed play area, for children from three to four years. The school has core subjects included mathematics, English, science, information and communication technology and foundation subjects included history, geography, design technology, music, art, physical education. The school fund is made up from donations and the profit from events organised by the parents teacher friends association (PTFA). The school aims to provide a well resourced, high quality learning environment.
