Background:
The school is situated in a residential part of Dukinfield at the foot of the Pennine Hills. It is situated at the top of a hill with clear views over Stockport and Manchester. A wide range of sporting activities are provided for the children as well as the National Curriculum provision (which includes swimming), these include adventure holidays in the summer term, coaching in baseball, football and hockey and the regular practising of skills across a range of sports related activities, all of which take place in the children's weekly lessons and are also offered on a half-termly basis as extra curricular activities. The resources for ICT are excellent and will be upgraded even further in the near future. The school has two ICT Suites in school, which can be used by all children under supervision from their class teachers and other adults. Future developments will include extra facilities in all classrooms.
