The school is situated on a hill in the middle of a housing estate and commands breathtaking views of the surrounding rural area. Extra-curricular activities currently include football, cross-country running, recorder, choir and French.The school's parents' association holds fundraising events and children raise funds for the school and for charity. Arlies Primary has developed close links with the local community. 'Pupils at the school enjoy high standards of attainment and are frequently praised for their caring attitude and good behaviour. Being a good citizen is an important aim for all pupils'.
