Background:
Duddon St Peter's is situated in a rural area, which is seven miles from Chester. The school was re-modelled in 1988. A broad and balanced curriculum is offered. Residential visits form an important part of school life. It also provides extra-curricular activities such as football, netball, basketball, cycling, choir and orchestra. The school is involved in sporting fixtures throughout the year and pupils' also perform musically in assemblies, concerts and events. The parent teacher association gives much financial support. The school also has close ties with St Peter's Church where regular services are held and with local high and primary schools. The school aims to create a caring and loving environment where children settle quickly and can achieve their best in all that they do.
