Culcheth High School is a secondary school and sixth form for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is 11 to 18. The school was opened to serve the people of Culcheth in purpose-built accommodation in 1931. It has two new food technology rooms, an art room and a floodlit synthetic pitch for hockey and soccer. The school is situated in pleasant grounds. The school maintains broad and balanced curriculum. It provides a wide range of extra-curricular activities including: hockey, netball, football and cricket. The school aims to give its pupils the chance to increase their knowledge and understanding of social issues and become better decision makers.
